Indian fast Bowler Ishant Sharma recently talked about the mental trauma he suffered once after the loss of a match against Australia. He revealed how some of his teammates helped him to came out of that Period.

Ishant Sharma Indian pace spear head recently gave a interview to cricbuzz in their series Rise of New India. He talked about his cricketing journey, his lows and ups in his cricketing journey, The events which he can’t forget and the Success he achieved.
Ishant Sharma burst into the scene in 2007 when he made Debut for team India in tests against Bangladesh. His early heroins came in 2008 when Indian team toured to Australia for Border Gavaskar Trophy (BGT)
. In that series he troubled Ricky Ponting and gave him sleepless nights. He gave Australian taste of their own medicine by decimating their batting in almost every match of the series. He ended up taking 15 wickets in 7 innings in that series.
In the interview Ishant Sharma talked about the instances of 2013 Australia vs India ODI series where his performance was very average. He talked about the Mohali match where Australia needed 44 runs in last 3 overs and well set Adam Voges and James Faulkner were batting. Ishant Sharma came to bowl and James Faulkner hit him for Four sixes and Ishant conceded 30 runs in that over.
India lost that ODI match thanks to the heroics of the James Faulkner. That match gave Ishant Sharma sleepless nights, he was in pain that his team lost the match because of his that over.
He said, “The lowest moment of my career was 2013 ODI series vs Australia. I was dating my wife at that time and I just spoke to her and I think I just cried for almost a month. I used to call her everyday & cry over the phone saying that team lost because of me”.
He talked about the incident where Mahi Bhai (Mahendra Singh Dhoni) and Shikhar Dhawan came to his room and consoled him saying that, look you have been playing good cricket ( dekh tu acha kar rha h).
Because of that series a perception was made that Ishant Sharma can’t bowl in white ball format. Ishant Sharma recently played for india in Test colors where he peaked Under the leadership of Virat Kohli.
Ishant Sharma will be seen in the IPL for Delhi Daredevils. He is been preparing for that.
