Indian cricket team is up against Australians in the 4th and the final test match of the Border Gavaskar Trophy at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Indian cricket team need to win the contest against Australia at any cost inorder to confirm their spot in the World Test Championship finals otherwise they need to wait for Sri Lanka vs New Zealand test series result.

The stage is set for the final Test Match of the ongoing Border Gavaskar Trophy. The prime minister’s of both the countries will be watching the contest between India Vs Australia. Indian Prime minister Mr. Narendra Modi and Australian Prime minister Anthony Albanese will be present. 1 lakh peoples are expected to come for the event.
After the loss in the first two test match of the series Australian team defeated Indian team in the Indore test match with 9 wickets. After Pat Cummins returned to Australia, former captain of the Australian team captained them and brought the result for them. The stakes are high for the match as India need to win at any cost to confirm WTC finals berth. Australia have already qualified by defeating india in the Indore test match.
It will be interesting to watch how pitch going to behave in the Ahmedabad. In the last three test matches pitches are rank turners. Both the teams are unsure about the surface and are not sure what to do if they wins the toss.

Rohit Sharma in the Conference answered many questions. On being asked about the pitch he said remove the pitch out of the equation, one have to bat well to score runs batter need to identify the ways to score runs. It’s not about the technical adjustment its all mental.
On being asked about KS Bharat place in the 4th Test Match to which he replied that team management had already cleared to him that he will be given chances and he won’t be judged in the performance of the few matches and same has been conveyed to Ishan Kishan that when his time comes he will be given opportunities.
On the question of Ravi Shastri that Indian team being overconfident that costed them game to this Rohit Sharma said, There is difference between being ruthless and overconfident. Ruthless means you need to be ahead of the opposition and don’t give them an inch. He said outsider doesn’t now what the talk is going inside the team group, if Ravi Shastri said we were overconfident then that is rubbish.
He said this is the first time that team losing the toss have won 3 matches in India. He talked about the Rishabh pant missing the series has been huge loss. He talked about DRS strategy where he involves bowler wicketkeeper and closing fielders. Getting DRS right is lottery for any team. It is not easy to get DRS right in turning tracks.
